DOG FOOD for the ELDERLY POOR

During Gerald Ford's administration (Republican) after Nixon (Republican), '74 - '77, Sims was horrified to read that the elderly poor in this rich, powerful country had not enough money to buy regular food and were forced to fill their empty stomachs with dog food, etc. She thought this deserved at least some comparative American advertising & photoscreened regular product labels with her additions / corrections.

Silkscreened on paper, applied w/ scotch tape directly over existing cans that were then placed back onto shelves in supermarkets . This piece has been retired - no longer performed.
